F-secure has made a response on the 52 Symbian trojans identified by SimWorks. They have confirmed that the files are indeed malicious based on Skulls.D trojan. All 52 trojans are similar because they use the same way to insert into pirated Symbian softwares. Both F-Secure and SimWorks agree that the good news is there is no any trojans reported to be in wild. ![]() "So the case is interesting from academical (sic) point of view, but not a real threat to the users," the company said. Simworks agreed. "Until reports are received of these trojans in the wild, there is little risk to end users," Aaron Davidson, SimWorks' CEO, said in a statement.
