Other than the recent Lenovo i921 smartphone announcement, Lenovo has also presented 8 other mobile phones for China market. Although some of the designs are similar with other manufacturer like Sony Ericsson and Motorola, they have certainly picking up on the mobile design. Lenovo target to grap 10% of mobile phone market share in China this year. We will start with Lenovo i720, a low end "music phone".

Targeting at low end market, Lenovo i720 is a simple mp3 phone with only internal memory. External memory is not available for this phone and the 64 MB internal memory is limiting the number of songs you can put in. It do not have bluetooth, IrDA connection, transfering of mp3 songs can be done only through USB. Java is not supported too.

Other than the issues above, Lenovo i720 does have quick access button at the side to control the play list of the mp3 player. Student will definitely love the built in KingSoft English > Chinese dictionary. The phone also provide some simple English speaking course in audio format.
