Announced in Feb this year, NEC N500is slim phone has now reached Taiwan with the i-mode service.

The i-mode N500is is a GSM triband which support i-mode service. The external screen is OLED, placed in landscape way. The 13.6mm thickness let it stand a place in the slim phone range, although there are <10mm slim phone around. Other than the usual flat keypad to get as slim as possible, the nagivation pad at the center is also the control of media player. NEC N500is support MP3/AAC/AAC+ music file, the memory storage is not expandable except the built in 48MB.
