The first question asked was from a N70 user when he first learnt I have a set of N72: what's the difference? Besides the expansion in color options (both black and pink are available now compared to a standard silver for N70 previously), it just seems to be a tad slimmer when viewed sideways.
Getting the music manager to work was pretty simple, though the hard thing was selecting which songs to put into my itsy bitsy 128MB. Went for the Random Transfer option and I was pretty happy listening to the rendition of Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy" to John William's "Superman's Theme" on the loudest volume on the phone's speakers. I am glad to report it still suffice to serve as a form of entertainment at your outdoor picnics.
The interface on the computer and the handset were simple enough to follow and navigate around, though getting the 5-way navigational button on the handset to coincide with the 5-directional pictorial playing option was a little tricky. As a gauge, 6 songs took up about 72.96MB of the memory. However, the phone did not respond well when I set it to play in the background while I tried to navigate with other menu options to enable the Bluetooth for example. This non-responsiveness has been noted even in the daily navigation of the phone. Nokia Multimedia Factory and Message Phone Browser did not work as anticipated and I encountered various error messages from the application itself or from IE explorer.
