"Sleek" was what was brought to mind when I first checked out Nokia 6125. With the antenna conspicuously absent and slim lines along the side, including a cover just for the micro SD card, the latest clamp-shell mobile phone from Nokia is said to be targeted at the mid-range market.

The camera comes complete with a 8X zoom and allow you to select standard, night or self-timer mode. Photo management is also available with Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0, which, you would have to download from the web though. As with the standard 1.3 megapixel phone cameras, picture quality was grainy under night conditions with low lighting (a). The quality improves during daytime in a normal classroom environment (b).

Video Recorder
- Integrated Video Recorder: 3GG spec (H.263 video and AMR radio packed in .3gp format)
- Video Resolution: QCIF (176 x 144 Pixel, 15 frames per second

The video feature has a standard cut-off time of less than a minute if it just runs on phone memory, which will be definitely dampens your attempt at being a short film producer. The capability to add on a micro SD card to enhance the current 11MB phone memory should console you nonetheless.

With the Nokia PC suite installed, your computer will attempt to view the video with a Nokia Video Player. You have the option to view it with the standard Windows Media Player and the sound quality is surprisingly acceptable, with no noticeable jerkiness that you might normally expect from a home video camera clip.
