Nokia 6280 Review
Most of us will be nodding in approval at first contact with the phone. It's plain and classic, Nokia's new 3G phone, the 6280. Matt silver with black edges. A handsome sturdy frame softened just a tad by round edges. A big bold screen befitting its video call capabilities. A spring slide that pushes up easily to reveal a stylish keypad that's almost therapeutic to press. It's a phone for guys, judging from its size of 100 x 46 x 21 mm. It gets 3cm longer when you open the slider, and some may not like that. But this phone weighs only 115g, a bit lighter than the other 3G phones from the N Series. Operating on the 3rd edition of the Series 40 UI, this non-symbian phone will not be able to run .sis files that you download. But this version of UI runs fast and offers some goodies of its own. This phone allows you to key in 500 contacts and there are 12 fields of details for each entry. These include picture id, ringtone and even a video to be played when this friend calls.
