Supposed to be launched in January this year, Sony has posted a new firmware 3.93 for Japan PSP users to enable skype calls.
The new skype support was delayed in January because microphones developed for it didn't meet specifications but it seems like they are able to solve the problem now. The new feature will only support PSP-2000 users, they will need a memory stick, a wireless Internet connection and Skype-compatible headset to use the service. Sony is expected to roll out the update to world wide later. |
