Cicero Networks announced availability of CiceroPhone, dual-mode VoIP client for Nokia S60 handsets. It enables seamless roaming between the Wi-Fi and cellular networks. CiceroPhone provides a unified, highly intuitive user experience, whereby calls are automatically routed over the best available network - Wi-Fi or cellular. Intelligent routing rules ensure cost and quality are optimised on all calls. In addition, CiceroPhone enables routing decisions to be optimised on the handset for certain numbers or ranges of numbers for specific networks. “Nokia is the market leader in the smartphone market and it has been a strategic priority for us to support S60 platform to enable operators to drive Fixed Mobile convergence adoption,” said Ross Brennan, CEO Cicero Networks. CiceroPhone for Symbian OS is scheduled for release on the 30th November 2006. |
