Vonage Marketing today announced the availability of the Motorola VT2442 Internet Phone Adaptor with Router, a four port router and two line Internet telephone adaptor configured with Vonage's service.

An all-in-one solution, the versatile Motorola VT2442 greatly simplifies the process of adding Internet telephone service into a home network. The VT2442 powers up to two lines of telephone service and supports popular features such as call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID. The VT2442 also includes a fully-featured home network router, offering four Ethernet ports for connecting computers or gaming consoles, and an advanced firewall for Internet security.

The product incorporates Texas Instruments' TNETV1060 VoIP gateway chipset, further enhancing the quality and feature offerings of Vonage's Internet telephony service for subscribers.
