USRobotics announced the availability of its Skype-certified USB Internet Speakerphone, the newest in the company's family of Skype products. The speakerphone will be available through resellers later this month and is priced at $49.99 (MSRP).

The USR9610 USB Internet Speakerphone makes free Skype calls hands free. With powerful echo cancellation technology, convenient volume and mute buttons, and full-duplex operation, the USR9610 works just like a traditional speakerphone, only without the costs of a long distance call. The speakerphone is light, and easy to install and use with the free software available from Skype.

The speakerphone's high-quality speaker allows for clear, easy to understand calls from around the world. In addition, the unit's small size and resilient design allows users to drop it into their laptop bag without fear of damage.
