Vodafone Germany is repeating last year's Christmas promotion and giving all its customers the very special gift of free text and MMS messages. From 12 midnight on 5 December to 12 midnight on 6 December, all text and image messages sent via the Vodafone network will be free of charge to registered users. Contract and pre-paid customers who want to take part in the Christmas promotion can register from 21 November onwards by calling or sending a text message from the Vodafone network, free of charge, to 22093.

6 December will be another special day for Vodafone Germany customers this year. They can send a photo to their loved ones, drop a line to their parents or send out invitations to their Christmas parties. Registered Vodafone customers can communicate to their heart's content with friends and family on 6 December and they don't have to pay a single cent. Unlimited text and image messages can be sent via the Vodafone Germany network free of charge. The offer is valid all day long on 6 December 2005, though it doesn't apply for special-purpose numbers and premium text messages.

If you want to take part, simply register free of charge between 21 November and 6 December 2005 by calling or sending a text message from the Vodafone network to 22093. Customers with term contracts will initially be charged for the text and MMS messages. These charges will then be deducted from the next or, in some cases, the next-but-one bill. CallYa customers will initially have the cost of the text and MMS messages deducted from their card credit, and the amounts will then be credited back to the CallYa customer account within the next five days. Registered users will receive a reminder text message on the special offer day.

Vodafone launched the promotion exactly one year ago on 6 December 2004. It was so popular that it has been repeated on various occasions, the last one being national election day in September. This year's Christmas promotion is the sixth in the series.
