SK Telecom let farmers know their farm status anywhere at the world as long as they can send sms to an auto answering system in their farm.

The whole system is available from 11th this month for purchase. It is suitable for farmers who do plantation with greenhouse. Basic information tracking include temperature, humidity, temperature control system status, amount of rainfall are available real time through sms texting.

You can send a sms to your greenhouse, and it will auto reply depends on your requested information. In the event of disaster, for example power failure, the system will send a warning message immediately to your mobile phone.

In Q1 next year, SK Telecom plan to integrate the control of windows, temperature with the sms to give more remote control possibility.
