From June 2005, frequent flyers (PPS Club and KrisFlyer members) and registered users of the Singapore Airlines website can enjoy the ease and convenience of checking-in using their SMS (Short Message Service) from most cities on Singapore Airlines' network worldwide.
Passengers can enjoy this service in most stations worldwide except in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Colombo, Ho Chi Minh City, Kolkata and Mumbai. In addition, the SMS Check-in service is not available to customers using mobile phones subscribed to service providers in Japan, Korea, China, Canada and US. |

First launched in August 2004, the SMS Check-in service enables customers to check-in and confirm their seat allocation remotely using text messages on the mobile phone. Initially only available in 12 destinations, Singapore Airlines is extending the SMS Check-in service to most cities which the airline flies to.
