We’ve seen plenty of Google Phone impostors in the last year or so. You’ll have to pardon my skepticizm with this latest rendition of a possible gPhone.
It really doesn’t look all that exciting to be honest. I would be less surprised to hear that this was a new Moto Q or Crackberry design. The company that is touting this phone as their own is a Chinese firm called E28.
E28 does have a history of producing Linux-powered handsets, which would make them a consideration for Google. However, we’ve heard of other companies who claim to be in talks with Google for making their new handset, so I’ll recommend a grain of salt with this one. Hell, we still don’t even know if they’re making a phone yet. Are E28 behind the first gPhone? [via GooglePhone] |
