GPLUS in Taiwan has got the official license to produce the Picasso branded mobile phone. Their first product in the series is Picasso GF901. It is available this month in Taiwan.

Supporting GSM dual band (900/1800 mHz) network only, the Picasso GF901 is a clamshell phone with a master art design. Outside the clamshell there is a hidden OLED screen to display the text info. The GF901 has a 1.8" display screen (176 x 220), comes with unique Picasso art wallpapers and screensavers. The navigation and shortcut buttons on the keypad is specially design like a palette with different colors on each buttons.

Other than the unique design, the Picasso GF901 will integrate a 1.3 megapixel camera, support MP3/MP4 multimedia file format and bluetooth wireless connection.
