Pei Hua has an unique idea on the phone camera module. Instead of using the LCD screen as a viewfinder, the camera module is integrated on a transparent surface. Just like your film camera, you get what you see from the transparent window. The first advantage is power saving since you are no longer rely on the LCD screen, but the transparent window is taking half of the phone size.

The purpose of this project is to look for farther possibilities of future cell phones. With the 50mm equivalent camera module, this cell phone no long depends on the screen while taking pictures. By using the transparent frame as viewfinder, "What You See Is What You Get."
