The wireless module built in W-Sim will be used in a wrist watch.
The W-Sim card is a new technology used by Japanese PHS operator Willcom. The card is much larger than your normal sim card, but it can store your user data and also all the transmission technology needed for a mobile device to work, the built in antenna. One of the japan company is making 5000 pieces of wrist watch phone. The wrist watch accept W-Sim card to enable the wireless connection. The wrist watch will have a 2.4" LCD screen, even let you receive media streaming and watch it through the small screen. The watch is about 89.5 x 58 x 22.3 mm and weight 120 grams. |
