Just 1 year ago Casio release their G'zOne model with waterproofing capability, KDDI has just announced its next model Casio G'zOne W42CA which feature high speed data communication module.

Available in June, Casio G'zOne W42CA is the first CDMA 1X WIN terminal, supporting the latest high speed communication technology. Similar to last year model, it is tested with IPX7 (JIS protective class 7). This level of protection is same as dropping the phone in the water at 1m depth for 30 minutes.

The phone feature a 2.4" display screen, about 0.2" bigger than its previous version. The external screen is monochrome, not fancy but it is big and able to display more information than a small external display screen.

The 2.0 megapixel camera is at the front of the phone. Battery container has took most part of the phone at the back. microSD slot is located under the battery, the battery cover can protect both the battery and the microSD card.
