Fujitsu is a great electronics maker, but it’s not particularly known for its production of cell phones. This is why it comes as a bit of a surprise that the F702id phone from Fujitsu is one of the most innovative on the market. Where else will you find a dual camera system? Or how about a finger print scanner? These out of the ordinary features are present in this strangely intriguing phone.

Before we get to the sweet unheard of features, let’s start with the basics. The F702id is sized at 98 x 51 x 33mm, and weighs 114 grams. It has a 2.2” TFT LCD, which is pretty standard fare. Here’s where it get interesting: dual cameras! The primary camera is 1.28 MP, and is used mainly for regular things like taking pictures. The other one is slightly lower in quality at 1.1 MP, and is used for taking video, and interacting through it. There’s also a biometric finger sensor, which will probably come in to play when a thief steals your phone, and tries to use it. Handy stuff, and pretty rare for a phone.

Not much else has been released regarding the F702id except for the fact that it has USB interactivity. This indicates at some sort of media playback function, making the phone even more attractive. Overall, most people won’t need dual cameras, but for picky consumers, this might be a life saver. The fingerprint scanner isn’t necessary either, but it’s a great feature to have, and sure to make you feel a lot more secure having this thing. Interesting phone with some cool new ideas; just what the industry needs!
