Grundig mobile is presenting the Grundig X5000 for the first time at the 3GSM World in Barcelona. The Grundig X5000 expands Grundig mobile's design range with a genuine megapixel marvel. Equipped with a 6 megapixel camera and an MP3 player with 6 equalizer modes, the Grundig X5000 proves itself to be a digital camera, MP3 player and mobile phone all in one.

The 6 megapixel camera with 4 x zoom permits photos and videos in excellent quality. There are 22 modes available for shooting high quality photographs, including interior shots, nighttime, sport, sun, landscape, negative and sepia. In addition, the user can in each case make a selection from the macro modes such as landscape, flower close-up, etc. LED flash and adjustments such as definition, contrast and exposure complement the camera's photographic capabilities. There is a basic choice between 6 resolution levels: from VGA to 6 megapixels.

The digital video camera permits filming in DVD quality and provides resolution levels in QVGA and VGA. The video length available is only limited by the internal and external memory. But thanks to the mini SD card slot, external memory is available which can be increased up to 2 GB. Due to the high resolution display of 680 x 240 pixels in 16.7 million colours, the videos recorded can be shown in TV quality.

The MP3 player is equipped with 6 different equalizer modes, including rock, pop, jazz and concert. The MP3 songs stored can also be used as ring tones.
