VK Corporation is releasing four models of new slim series cell phones - including the models subsequent to the VK2000 - in 2006, aiming for the global market.

In addition to the VK2000 that has drawn positive comments in Europe as well as in China, these new products will be released strategically by VK as a part of its efforts to enter the Global GSM market. The company is determined to capture the global consumers' attention through various designs such as bar, folder and slide, and advanced features such as large memory capacity, mega-pixel camera, Bluetooth, and charging and data transfer via USB connection.

The VK2010 and VK2100, the models subsequent to the VK2000, are bar-type 8.8 mm super slim models featuring MP3 and Bluetooth capabilities, taking the features of the VK2000 one step further. Both models are real MP3 phones with Bluetooth support, allowing users to enjoy music during a call or while working on a text message. The VK2100 has a large 2 GB memory that provides storage space for more than 500 MP3 songs, rivaling the existing MP3 players in storage capacity. The VK2010 boasts a stylish design giving the feel of the Apple iPod and spacious 512 MB memory. With these two models, VK is expected to challenge all comers into the bar-type cell phone market, which is currently led by Nokia.

The VK3100 is a multitasking folder-type 14.9 mm slim phone that provides both MP3 and Bluetooth capabilities, and is expected to put the heat in the multitasking slim phone market where global mobile phone companies are in sharp competition with one another.

The slim slide-type VK4500, rising as the most popular model, is already catching the attention of international buyers with its unique design, in which only the LCD portion is lifted. This model also has a competitive edge both in design and functionality by supporting camera, MP3 and Bluetooth capabilities.

With the exception of the VK2100, these new models will be introduced into the global market including China and Europe this month, while the release of the VK2100 is set for February, 2006.
