Casio has released G'zOne TYPE-R model which can be used in any weather condition. It is water proof and shock resistant. The external screen able to display date/time, used as a compass or stop watch.

G'zOne TYPE-R has a level 7 protection according to Casio. IT is equivalent to stay functioning under 1m water deep for 30mins. Besides the extra protection, the main display screen is QVGA quality, and it comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera.
