Pantech Group today unveiled three new handsets to be made available in Argentina and announced plans to capture at least 10 percent of the Argentine mobile phone market by the end of 2007. The new products, the PG-3810, PG-1310V and the PG-1610 will be offered through CTI Movil, the Argentine affiliate of America Movil.

The ultra-compact PG-3810 features a slick, attractive, easy-to-grip design in silver. It weighs only 69.9g and features a 330k pixel CMOS camera, 262K color display, MP3 ring tones and speakerphone. Users can also send photos and phone numbers to other mobile phones through the phone’s infra-red data association (IrDA) function.

Another compact clamshell handset, the PG-1310V features a 1.5 inch 65,000 color LCD and a VGA CMOS camera, along with WAP 2.0 and JAVA applications. The semi-automatic PG-1610 slider phone features a robust digital camera with zoom functionality, along with MP3 ring tones and a speaker phone.
