Sony Ericsson has an attachable gamepad out for their new Z600 flipphone called the EGB-10. They've also just announced several new multiplayer games for their phones that can played over GPRS. Sony Ericsson has announced a trial mobile online multi-player game solution. The trial is based on networking technology - Terraplay Move - developed by Terraplay systems. The games include Rally (a four-player game) and RC Battle (an eight-player game). They can be from Sony Ericsson's Fun and Downloads and allows players to compete online against one another from around the world. The assumption is that competitors will be using GPRS or similar to play the games. The list of suitable handsets includes the T300, T306, T310, T316, T226, T230, T608, T610, T616, Z600, Z608 and T630 products. |
