BlueRun Ventures, formerly known as Nokia Venture Partners, today announced that several of the firm's portfolio companies will showcase their products and solutions at the 3GSM World Congress held this week in Cannes, France. In the BlueRun Ventures booth located at Stand G12 Hall 2 are Atrua, Bitfone, Oplayo, ProQuent Systems, and Sequoia Communications.

Atrua Technologies, Inc.: as the industry's leading provider of intelligent touch controls, Atrua is demonstrating one-touch controls that provide easy, rapid, and secure access to advanced services.  The Atrua Wings, Atrua's flagship product, detects and converts intuitive finger movements into rich and responsive control capabilities making is easy for consumers to access games, multimedia applications and mobile data services.

Bitfone: the company that pioneered firmware over the air (FOTA) update technology for mobile phones with mProve, has greatly expanded its device management offering since winning the "Cutting Edge Promise Award" at 3GSM in 2004. In September, Bitfone announced its "Find it. Fix it. Enhance it." value proposition for mobile operators with the introduction of SmartCare for customer care automation and MVP for standards-based delivery and lifecycle management of update packages for mobile phone software. Bitfone has since announced a global deal with LGE, the award of a broad-based FOTA patent by the USPTO, and the deployment of an open source system for device management interoperability testing. This year at 3GSM, Bitfone will be highlighting integrated solutions with Gemplus, McAfee, PalmSource, Axalto and QUALCOMM.
 
Oplayo Mobile: Oplayo Oy, the leading mobile video specialist demonstrates it transformation into an Application Service Provider (ASP) with the launch of Oplayo Managed Media ServicesTM (OMMSTM). The new service is launched with three operators already signed up to the new ASP solution globally. Oplayo recently announced it passed the one million monthly paid video transactions via its Oplayo Managed Media ServicesTM (OMMS).
