Ubixon today unveiled the latest design in its family of Bluetooth® stereo headset products. The new UBHS-PH2 headset will be the first to feature an Interferometric Modulation (IMOD) display from QUALCOMM.
UBHS-PH2 supports Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and is able to deliver visual information - such as SMS and song titles - all presented as icons on the main screen. The display allows users to view information in a wide variety of viewing environments, including bright sunlight. In addition, the new headset features the XEN 3D Sound solution offering five distinctive sound effects, echo cancellation and noise suppression, to provide a comfortable listening environment. The reflective displays, based on IMOD technology, require no backlighting and can be viewed in bright sunlight and in a wide range of environments. Moreover, these displays offer a significant reduction in power consumption as compared to other display technologies, extending device battery life and enabling new features. via phonemag |
