Newton Peripherals today introduced the MoGo Headset in an ultra-thin design for cellular telephony applications. The MoGo Headset is designed to bring added capabilities to wireless phone users, without requiring them to carry the additional, bulky accessories usually needed with other headsets.

The MoGo Headset features Bluetooth wireless capabilities in a unit less than five millimeters thick, easily enabling people to use it with all of today’s most popular wireless telephones. Its built-in battery supports up to six hours of continuous talk time between charges, giving users unprecedented freedom.

Meanwhile, Newton Peripherals said it has begun discussions with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wireless phones, to bundle the MoGo Headset with future phone offerings in an integrated unit that will enable users to use it, store it, charge it SM within the phone itself. The groundbreaking design will allow people to easily store the headset when it is not in use and recharge it along with their phones, without the need for additional cables and adapters.
