Parrot has announced the next-generation of its popular 3200 series car kit, the new Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS.

Like its predecessor, the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS is full-featured, installed car kit with a large bright color TFT screen and full duplex audio. It will pair with up to five phones, store up to 1,000 contacts, and support 150 voice tags for true voice-controlled, hands-free calling. Once paired with a Bluetooth phone, it automatically synchronizes with the cellular phone book and, as a call is made or received, the screen displays the contact’s name, phone number, and even their photo if one has been uploaded.

The new Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR Plus now features Parrot’s latest proprietary innovations digital signal processing (DSP) called Parrot Beamforming to boost in-car sound quality. Parrot's Beamforming utilizes advanced noise and echo cancellation technology in combination with two sensitive, directional microphones. The system identifies and compares background noises to eliminate them more efficiently while isolating the driver’s voice.

Another unique feature of the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS is that Parrot has eliminated the external microphones by integrating them in the color display unit. This not only provides a clean look, but eliminates having to run a microphone wire behind the instrument panel and up the A-pillar.

In addition, the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS’ color TFT display is removable to help prevent theft. The screen features a TFT display with 160 x 128 pixels and 262,144 colors. The Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS will be available in the U.S. this summer, at which time the price will be announced.
