EC-Asia International Limited (ECI) launched ACEplus Melody, an integrated Bluetooth headset cum digital music player and memory card reader. Sporting six contemporary designs, ACEplus Melody is now available at the recommended retail price of $120 USD in Asia.

The 5-in-1 multi-functional ACEplus Melody is an integrated Bluetooth headset cum digital music player and memory card reader. It allows for stereo playback of MP3/WMA music tracks, and receiving phone calls from a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or Internet calls via a Bluetooth-enabled computer running popular Internet telephony applications such as Skype and MSN Messenger

ACEplus Melody automatically pauses the music track when there is an incoming call and resume playback when the call ends. As the power to the music player is independent of the Bluetooth connectivity, its power-saving feature will switch off the music player automatically when the call exceeds 5 minutes.

Powered by a built-in Li-Polymer rechargeable battery, ACEplus Melody automatically charges when plugged into the USB port on any computer. It also serves as a SD/MMC card reader for the transfer of files between the memory card and the computer. ECI plans to introduce an optional stereo sound dock for ACEplus Melody in the same year.
