PenPower Taiwan has released their WorldPhone branded product, MobilePen. MobilePen let you write on the touchpad in Chinese or English and input to phone wirelessly. It is done via bluetooth connectivity.

MobilePen is specially designed for smartphone with Windows Mobile and Symbian OS. Providing an alternative way to speed up the text input rate, mobile user who work frequently with mobile office application will certainly love this add on.

The size is not too small at 98 x 60 x 11 mm and weight at 54g (with battery). It is powered by 1 AAA battery.

On the touchpad there is already a virtual QWERTY key to key in the text by tapping the correct character. Most people will still do the direct writing on the touchpad and the input support English as well as Chinese character.

There are 3 buttons at the bottom of Mobile Pen. It allow you to

• left button: switch between english/chinese when using handwriting
• middle button: switch between handwriting or virtual keypad
• right button: show/hide words list

The stylus and power switch are at the 2 side of Mobile Pen. With 1 AAA battery MobilePen can be used continuously for 5 hours.
