Cardo Systems today announced the availability of its new Bluetooth adaptor, the BTA II. The Cardo BTA II converts standard cellular phones into full-fledged Bluetooth handsets, providing users with a refined, crystal-clear hands-free communication experience.
In addition to standard mobile phones, the BTA II can also upgrade traditional 2.5 mm land-line cordless telephones that operate at the 900 MHz or 1800 MHz frequency. In conjunction with the Cardo scala-500 Bluetooth headset, users can enjoy complete wireless flexibility. The Cardo BTA II offers up to 9 hours of talk-time, a full week of standby time, and is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery that can be fully recharged in just two hours. The Cardo BTA II is available directly from Cardo Systems for $49.95 or at select U.S. wireless dealers and retailers. |

Weighing less than half an ounce, the Cardo BTA II plugs directly into the audio jack of traditional cellular and most cordless land-line phones, providing them with wireless capabilities previously available only with Bluetooth-enabled handsets. The Cardo BTA II allows users to initiate, receive, and conduct calls at distances of up to 30 feet using Cardo's scala-500(TM) Bluetooth headset or headsets from other manufacturers.
