Gennum today announced the release of nXZEN, its newest Bluetooth headset model. The nXZEN offers advanced and powerful noise reduction in the industry, providing users with clear communications in high-noise situations where the clarity of phone calls is critical.

nXZEN and nXZEN Plus

The nXZEN Bluetooth headset use nXZEN's patented FRONTWAVE EXTREME technology, which utilizes a two-microphone array to sample two separate points in space, providing more information about the environment around the user. The FRONTWAVE EXTREME algorithm is then able to create a hyper-directional 'near field' pick-up beam that targets the speaker's voice and eliminates environmental noise. The technology works to cancel the complex noise found in loud environments like automobiles and factories, all while retaining natural voice inflections.

The headset is available in two models, the nXZEN and the nXZEN PLUS, which also features an audio input port to connect with CD or MP3 players. Using the nXZEN PLUS, users can enjoy music in acoustically accurate stereo sound, with the ability to answer incoming phone calls at the touch of a button.

nXZEN PLUS also provides users with a wireless 8-band graphic equalizer to fine-tune their sound from a personal computer. Both models share a comfortable and extremely secure design, including two different ear loops and three different ear pieces to accommodate any user.
