At first sight, the BenQ-Siemens SL91 reveals only one thing: its impeccably beautiful design. The shiny, deep black surface of the mobile and the design shell is evocative of impeccably cut glass.

Featuring Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) technology,  the BenQ-Siemens SL91's surface reacts to slight pressure and reveals navigation keys, and a discreet acoustic signal tells you when an action has been initiated.

Placed in its design shell the SL91 becomes a precious and extravagant design object for the living room or the office. The elegant shell functions as a charger and also synchronizes the mobile with your PC. Exceptional light effects make this installation a real eye-catcher: A ring of light illuminates the shell in regular light impulses if an sms is received or a call missed while the phone is in the shell. With the mobile, the shell  doubles as a mobile hi-fi system and a hands-free solution for calls and video conferences.

For video telephony via UMTS, the BenQ-Siemens SL91 is equipped with a second VGA camera at the front of the phone. It is protected by the smooth and precise pro-slide mechanism. The large, 2-inch QVGA display offers 16.7 million colors. The SL91 will be available in Europe from the fourth quarter of 2006.
