BenQ Mobile presents the ultra-slim BenQ-Siemens EL71 slider phone at CeBIT 2006. This exquisite designer mobile draws all eyes with its clear lines and timeless elegance. The ergonomic design of the keypad combined with the ProSLIDE semi-automatic slider mechanism make operation particularly user-friendly. With only a slight push, the top and the underside of the mobile phone glide gently apart.

This design is rounded off by the brilliant 2-inch QVGA display that glows in 262,144 colors and supplies excellent quality in text and photo replay. Whether inside or outdoors, the EL71's high-grade display can always be read perfectly in all light conditions.

Spontaneous photo enjoyment on the move is ensured by the integrated 1.3 megapixel digital camera with improved LED photolight and a video function for shooting and replaying short movie sequences. There is also a music player for MP3 and AAC+ music files on board. There is sufficient storage space for all multimedia content on microSD cards that can be simply plugged into a slot on the mobile phone. 

After the EF81 clamshell mobile and the S68 in classic bar form, the EL71 slider phone is the third mobile in the BenQ Mobile range to captivate with ultra-slim design and authentic metal materials. Thus BenQ Mobile now offers super-slim devices in every form factor. The BenQ-Siemens EL71 will be available on the market in April 2006 in the color "Quartz Anthracite" and will also be available shortly thereafter in the color "Opal Black". Prices will be determined locally.
