Samsung continue to promote their upcoming model Samsung M8000 in EXPO COMM KOREA 2006. The M8000 is a pda phone running Windows Mobile OS. It support WiBro service, which is planned to be available in Korea this year.
WiBro is a wireless broadband internet technology being developed by the Korean telecoms industry since 2003. The M8000 is a smart phone equipped with a QWERTY key pad for easy email usage. Additionally, Samsung will feature a WiBro PCMCIA card that can be used in laptops and Tablet PCs. Various applications such as broadcasting, home networking, video telephony, VOD, and navigations will be easily implemented with the high speed wireless connection, probably with no extra cost if it make use of free wireless connection. With the WiBro mobile phone you can achieve up to 3 Mbps (Download) and 1 Mbps (Upload). What's important is WiBro able to give you a stable connection even when you are moving at 120 Km/h.
