DMB capable phone is hot in Korea now. Samsung SPH-B3100 is released this month.

Samsung has just released their new phone called the Samsung SPH-B3100, and as advanced as the cell phone market is right now, this cell is nothing special really. The phone is a flip style which is even though not the thinnest still pretty sleek measuring only 96mm x 49mm x 23 mm and weighing 130 grams. The phone comes with some pretty cool features and so far is only available in Korea which is not really a disappointment for the phone is nothing special. Anyway, the SPH-B3100 is designed very similar to Nokia’s N90 but is emphasized a bit more on the multimedia side.

Other features include an FM stereo receiver and TV-out as well as some cool multimedia features. The Samsung SPH-B3100 also includes a built in MP3 player for playing your favorite music right of the phone, but these days which phone does not have that. One thing that has captured my attention though was DMB support for watching TV on the go. Another striking feature is the MobileTouch interface for quick access of music player controls.

The phone also provides a heavy focus on MOD or Music on Demand which are becoming more and more popular as we speak. Three buttons to operate the MP3 player are located on the clamshell of the phone, with the sensor placed below the phone's plastic body making the phone sleeker. Overall this cell even though featuring a ton of cool stuff, still could be a bit sleeker and better looking. For now the price is not known, but it is available in Korea.
