If you think the megapixel race is ending, Samsung has just announced a 10 megapixel camera phone in CeBIT 2006. The 10 megapixel phone SCH-B600 is also a DMB phone, making it a phone with top technology inside. Back in January, a 7 megapixel camera phone was announced by Samsung, it looks like getting easier to push the megapixel to another high. While we are not sure how's the photo quality like, eventually we will have a mobile phone with a high quality camera built-in in the future.

The SCH-B600 also include the usual 3x optical zoom, bluetooth, memory card slot and receive DMB broadcast. As for the 10 megapixel camera, it can also do 5x digital zoom, auto focus, 1/2000 shutter speed support, self timer, continuous shot. Display screen can produce 1.6 million colors, give you an accurate colors with a powerful camera module.

"The 10-mega-pixel phone belongs to a different level with other camera phones,"’ said Lee Ki-tae, chief of Samsung’s mobile phone business, during a meeting with reporters here on Wednesday. "Samsung was the first company to introduce a camera phone in the world. And we will continue to bring products with more advanced optical technologies. We have many researchers who are specialized in optical science and they will help us catch up with famous optic technology firms such as Carl Zeiss and Schneider soon."

The SCH-B600 will be selling at a high price tag of 700 USD
