Samsung seems to have lose the first battle of slim phone with Motorola in Korea. They are now prepared to fight back with 5 new slim phones. 2 of the slim phones are built base on the v740 but they are now 3G compatible. Other slim phones include the credit card size P300 and 2 D800 series. The 5 models are named; SGH-Z540, SGH-Z510, SGH-P300, SGH-D800 and SGH-D820.

According to chosun.com, Motorola's slim RAZR mobile phone has outsold Samsung Electronics’ very similar V740 by 120,000 to 90,000 since the two phones were released near-simultaneously in Korea in June. With more slim phones waiting to be released from Motorola, Samsung has put in their effort to make sure they got the phones with same feature and specifications.
