Touted as the next big thing in mobile phone communication, the very latest 3G phones are presented by Samsung.
The latest video receiver phone from Samsung support L-Band. Singapore's MediaCorp will soon began a test to transmit television signals right to the mobile handset.
Samsung has started a new phone which use a much higher frequency (L-Band) than current digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) frequency. The current VHF range from 174 - 216 mHz but the L-Band can be range from 1.452 GHz to 1.492 GHz. It means the antenna receiver can be smaller and more efficiency.
