Samsung and Verizon Wireless announced the February 1 availability of the SCH-a890, the first wireless handset from Samsung for Verizon Wireless' VCAST service. This is the second "VCast" Phone after LG VX8000

High-speed data, VOD and the integrated 1.3-mega pixel camera, combined with features including 64-tone polyphonic ringers, a bilingual user interface, picture caller ID and a personal organizer make Samsung’s a890 an ideal handset for many VCAST customers. The Samsung a890 is available to Verizon Wireless customers for $249.99 after $70 rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
