SanDisk has begun production of 1 GB Secure Digital memory cards. The cards are to be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show running at the moment in Las Vegas. First SD cards able to hold one GB of data are slated to be available in your nearest store by the end of this month. According to PC World, a spokesperson for SanDisk said the company expects the cards to cost around $500. Source: PDALive |
